Other news

Our AGM was held last Thursday - minutes, board and proposals to be sent out seperately.

A GAA benefit table quiz will be held in the New Dubliners at 19:00 on Monday 14 March to raise funds for the club. This will be confirmed with them today. Can someone design a poster fairly sharpish and have them printed out. I will send the info (160 SEK per table of 4) to whoever can do it up? There will be a Facebook invite too.

The venues for the Pan-European have been decided: Guersnsey/Brussels and ......... Limerick. This will be the last round. We should try and get there this year - more details to follow.

No training this week

Hello all,
due to the weather being as it is and the fact that its a school holiday/sportsweek etc and we've a couple of absentees, training is cancelled this week (week 7). We will resume training Monday week 21st at 18.30 in Slottskogen. The week after Feb 28th, we will train in Skatas...

Irish Society

Some years back we had an association with the Portugese Society which worked really well. We had a couple of fundraisers there and its a great place etc. There is a possibility that we can use it again this year. If we can provide them with a list of 30-40 people who are willing to pay 600 sek per family for the year, we can use the place for whatever function we want and help launch the Gothenburg Irish society.
Let me know if you are willing and remember its per family....
regards
Billy
